FULLERTON, Calif.—The Cal State Fullerton track and field track and field program will send 50-plus athletes down to La Jolla, California for the California/ Nevada Championships this Friday and Saturday hosted by the University of San Diego.

The Titans look to make some noise for the second consecutive weekend, as Bryan Luther and Katie Wilson look to improve on superb outings last week. Luther will try and build on last weekend's time of 21.61 in the 200-meter, which currently ranks second in the Big West, while Wilson aims to make her mark in the 800-meter this weekend, as her current 400-meter time of 55.33 ranks best in the Big West.

Jasmyne Davis (triple jump), Walter Whitaker (triple jump), and Shawn McNany (pole vault) will be the top athletes to watch for Fullerton in the field events, as Davis currently ranks 9th in the conference in the triple jump (37''3.25"), Whitaker ranks second in the league in the men's triple jump (48'11'), and McNany ranks fourth in the Big West in the men's pole vault (16'0.75).

Events will get underway with the men's hammer throw Friday at noon and will conclude with men's 4x400 relay Saturday afternoon at 4:35 p.m.
