Fundraiser Planned for Last Week's Accident Victims

April 16, 2009

Orange, Calif. - A fundraising event in honor of those involved in last Thursday's fatal auto accident in Fullerton will be taking place on Wednesday, April 22, at Lucky Strike Lanes / Lounge in Orange.

Portions of the proceeds from the evening's event will go to charities in honor of former Titan cheerleader Courtney Stewart, Henry Pearson and Nick Adenhart, those who lost their lives in the crash, as well as a fund to help former Titan baseball player Jon Wilhite, the lone survivor, through his recovery process. A \$5 minimum donation will be required with 100 percent of the proceeds of the cover charge going to the recipients.

From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. the upscale bowling alley will have a private room available showing the Angels' game against the Detroit Tigers prior to the beginning of a silent auction. The auction will run from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Lucky Strike Building will be open exclusively for this fundraiser from 9 p.m. to midnight, with 20 percent off all sales going to the recipients.

Lucky Strike Lanes / Lounge is located in The Block at Orange at 20 City Blvd., West Bld. G, Suite 2 in Orange, CA 92868.
