TITANS `05: Saw limited playing time as the back-up catcher, appearing in 15 games in 2005 • Came back with a bang after missing the first 13 games of the season with a contused spleen and broken rib (injured during practice), going 3-for-3 in his return, driving in three in a victory over Cal State Northridge on Mar. 9 • Picked up five of his six hits in 2005 in his first four games • Drove in two on June 4 in the Regional with a pinch-hit double against Arizona, and another with a pinch-hit squeeze bunt the next game against Missouri • Threw out two of the eight runners (25 percent) who tried to steal against him.
