Cal State Fullerton Athletics

Heather Raidel joined Cal State Fullerton in January of 2017 as the DEGREE Program Coordinator.

Before CSUF, Raidel worked as a child welfare worker with the Department of Human Services in Douglas County, Colorado. During her time with DHS, she was an intake caseworker responding to family crises and advocating on behalf of the children involved.  Additionally, from October 2013 to July 2015, Raidel worked at a non-profit organization in Colorado Springs, Colorado. While at the non-profit, she was a caseworker for children and young adults with developmental disabilities that participated in Medicaid Waiver Programs through the state of Colorado. 

Originally from Warren, Ohio, Raidel attended Youngstown State University and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Developmental Psychology. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Human Services with a Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy in May 2013 from Liberty University. 

Raidel and her husband have a daughter and two Goldendoodles: Woody, named after the legendary Ohio State coach Woody Hayes, and Donovan, named after former LA Galaxy player Landon Donovan.
