SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton women's tennis regained their stride with a 4-1 win over Sacramento State on Thursday.

Fullerton moves to 15-4 (3-1) while Sacramento falls to 5-10 (4-2) for the season. 

The Titans started off the day with a sweep in doubles play. Courts number one and three took the point early for the Titans. 

Sarah Nuno and Karla Portalatin defeated the tandem of Gonzalez/Chernyetsky 6-2, while Danielle Pham and Caisey Lee Emery pushed past the dup of Shar/Vgarkovic 6-1. 

Masako Makiba and Genevieve Zeidan's match was stopped at  4-3 as a result of the Titans securing the doubles point.

Sacramento State started off hot in singles play as Loaiza took down No. 125 Genevieve Zeidan 6-3, 6-1. However, the Titans did not let that phase them as they would conquer the remaining courts to take the win. 

On singles court number three, Portalatin went up against Gulnova and won 6-2, 6-2. 

Nuno held it down on court number two when she faced off against Gonzalez and won 6-3, 6-1.

Luxizi Meng came up clutch with the win as she dominated Wicker 6-2, 6-3. 

Fullerton will begin their final homestand on April 7 against UC Irvine at 11 a.m.
