Women's tennis will continue fall play this week as they travel to San Diego to participate in the ITA Southwest Regionals beginning this Thursday through Monday.
Fullerton will be competing against west coast powerhouses such as UCLA, USC, and Pepperdine.
The Titans will have nine women competing in Regional play. The bracket-style matches will take place in one standard flight over 128 rounds during the five-day match.
Tiani Jadulang will begin in the second round against UC Santa Barbara. Luxizi Meng will play against SDSU in the first round. Sara Nuno will get a start a sneak peek at Big West play in the round of 64. Caisey Lee Emery, Genevieve Zeidan, Jadie Acidera, and Taylor Valenzuela will also get a Big West preview in the first round. Karla Portalatin will start in the second round with a match against UCLA. Masako Makiba will play in the second round.
Competing on Thursday in the doubles first round will be Makiba/Meng, Emery/Zeidan, Nuno/Portalatin. Beginning Friday, Acidera/Jadulang will play in the second round.
Doubles play begins Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. PT.
