JUNIOR (2014): Due to injury, Ybarra was sidelined following just 14 games after being off to a spectacular beginning to the season...offensively, batted a solid .318 with two round-trippers, seven RBIs, two doubles, and four runs scored...in just a 1/4 of games played in 2013-14, she manufactured six multi-hit and two multi-RBI contests...posted a 4-0 record in 23 innings in the circle, yielding a 0.61 ERA to go along with 11 strikeouts...picked up a two inning no-hit save against then No. 2 Oklahoma in a 3-1 win, first program win over a second-ranked opponent since 2008 and one of only two saves for the entire pitching staff...tossed six innings of two-hit relief versus Pittsburgh on Feb. 8, striking out two while issuing zero walks to pick up her first victory of the season.
SOPHOMORE (2013): Named to the 2013 NFCA All-West Region Second Team as a pitcher/utility pitcher...appeared in 54 games, making 51 starts primarily as the designated player..hit .260 with 39 hits, a team-high 12 doubles, three home runs, and 23 RBI's...led the NCAA with eight sacrifice flies during the regular season...had a team-high 13 multiple-hit games and five multiple-RBI games...On February 26 against No. 10 UCLA, she recorded a career-high five RBI's in an 11-5 upset victory (2-for-4, HR, and five RBI's)...in addition to being an offensive threat, she also shared the workload with freshman pitcher Jasmine Antunez...made 40 appearances, making 11 starts...finished 9-13 with a 2.86 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 117 2/3 innings...logged two complete games and one save...versus Pacific (May 3-4) she took the winning decision in all three games tossing nine innings allowing no runs and issuing eight walks....in the Big West Conference she was fourth in appearances (40), first in games finished (23), and second in games in relief (12).
FRESHMAN (2012): Key addition for the Titans in the circle, especially as a freshman sharing the workload with senior pitcher Aly Fascetti...made 39 appearances, making 30 starts...finished 13-17 with a 4.66 ERA and 87 strikeouts in 184 2/3 innings...logged 17 complete games and three shutouts...logged her first Division I win in her first career start against Colorado State on February 10, throwing a complete game, eight strikeout performance to lead the Titans...had a complete game shutout versus Charleston Southern on March 9, with a four hit, six strikeout effort to help the Titans win (5-0)...in her final six starts she tossed at least three innings in all her contests.

Four-year letter winner for the Bears...three-time first-team All-Big VIII League honoree from her sophomore-senior seasons while earning first-team All-Ivy League honors as a freshman...three-time first-team all-area selection from her sophomore-senior seasons and earned all-area honorable mention honors as a freshman...second-team All-CIF as a sophomore and junior and first-team honors as a senior.
PERSONAL
Parents are Louie and Donna...played travel ball for the Corona Angels...nicknames are Des and Desi...favorites include: pink, purple, tiffany blue (colors), dogs (pets), "When the going gets tough, the tough gets going,"(quote)...greatest accomplishment: going to a Division I school... I chose Fullerton because: everything just seemed perfect. The campus is nice and its close to home...If I didn't play softball, I would play: soccer, volleyball, or swim.
