FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's basketball team will host Santa Clara University on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. and then head to Portland for a game against the Pilots on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.

Fullerton is coming off their seocnd week of action where they went 1-1.

Fullerton dominated Cal Baptist coming through with a 14-point victory over the Lancers. Daeja Smith (26p-16r), Raina Perez (13p-13a), and Carolyn Gill (14p-10r) all recorded double-doubles to lead the way. As a team, they shot 54% from the field.

The Titans had a revenge game against SDSU, but ultimately fell 72-83 to the Aztecs. After scoring the first bucket of the game, the Titans went on the wrong end of a 13-0 run and never saw the lead again. Smith's six consecutive double-doubles ended, but she did put up 19 points in the loss. Gill recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Looking forward to this week, CSF and Santa Clara will face each other for the tenth time in program history. The Titans lead the all-time series 6-3 and have won the last two matchups with the most recent being last year's season opener when Fullerton took home the 73-69 victory in Santa Clara. The Broncos are coming off a very rough game in which they lost 77-46 to USC.

After celebrating Thanksgiving, the team will then head up to Portland, Oregon for a game against the Pilots. It will be the fourth time these two programs face each other with the last one coming last season in Titan Gym. The Titans won that game 66-61.

IN THE RECORD BOOKS
Several Titans have found their way into the record books on the all-time career leaderboards:

Daeja Smith................. 2nd in Blocks (104)
.................................. 5th in Double-Doubles (24)
.................................. 9th in Field Goal Percentage (48.6%)
Jade Vega.................... 10th in Free Throw Percentage (71.9%)
Hannah Thompson........ 5th in Three-Point Percentage (34.9%)

ROAD TO 1K
Only 23 Titans have ever surpassed the 1,000-point mark for their careers, but there could be two more to reach it this year. Daeja Smith currently sits at 893 and Jade Vega is behind her at 853. They rank 27th and 30th respectively all-time.

EXCLUSIVE CLUB
Daeja Smith currently sits at 893 points and 647rebounds for her career which makes her the 11th Titan in history to accumulate 800-plus points and 600-plus rebounds in a career. With seven more points and three more rebounds that group will shrink down to just eight members with 900-plus points and 650-plus rebounds.

DAEJA-VU
Picking up where she left off last year, Daeja Smith has shown why she's on the Lisa Leslie Award watch list. Through four games, she has three double-doubles, averaging 21.3 ppg and 12.5 rpg. Her best game came against CBU when she set a career-high 26 points to go along with 16 rebounds. She currently ranks in the NCAA Top 10 in double-doubles, points, rebounds, and field goals.

GAME CHANGER
Raina Perez was forced to redshirt last season, but has shown everyone what she's capable of already this year. After missing the first game, she is averaging 15.3 points per game and 7.3 assists in a team high 36.3 minutes per game. She is currently ranked ninth in the nation for assists per game.

AMIEE FOR THREE
Despite battling a wrist injury, freshman Amiee Book has been absolutely on fire from the field this season. In three games, she is shooting 70.8% (17-24) from the field and 70% (7-10) from three.

SHARING IS CARING
This year's Fullerton team plays very unselfishly passing up good shots for great shots. Because of that, they rank 16th in the nation with 67 assists on the season. Their 16.8 assists per game is good for 71st in the NCAA as well.

HOTTEST SHOT IN THE BIG WEST
This year's Fullerton team has been shooting the lights out this season. In four games, they are shooting 45.6% from the field which not only leads the Big West but ranks 68th in the nation.

IN THE TOP 100
To go along with assists, assists per game and field goal percentage, the Titans also rank in the NCAA top 100 in rebounds (62nd; 148) and three-point defense (76th, 24.1%)
