JUNIOR COLLEGE
Played two seasons at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, California under coach Mike Salazar in the Foothill Conference… Went 9-1 with a 2.88 ERA and 51 strikeouts in his first season making First Team All-Conference… In his second season, finished 8-1 with a 2.77 ERA, 110 strikeouts, 18 walks earning First Team All-Conference honors, the conference Pitcher of the Year, First Team All-SoCal, First Team All-State, First Team All-American, California Junior College Pitcher of the Year, and a Rawlings Gold Glove.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Covina High School in 2013 where he played four seasons of varsity baseball as a shortstop and right-handed pitcher under coach Terry DeWan in the Valle Vista league… Made Second Team All-Conference after going 6-3 with a 1.36 ERA in his junior season… Finished his senior year with a .345 batting average, 1 homerun, 29 RBIs, 7 stolen bases, a 6-4 record, and a 1.99 ERA, making Second Team All-Conference… Was a two-time Valle Vista All-Conference honoree… Also lettered in cross country and basketball.

Born in San Dimas, California...
