FULLERTON, Calif. - Mia Solorzano makes history, becoming the first Cal State Fullerton women's water polo player ever to receive All-Big West awards seven days after their inaugural season came to an end at the Big West tournament.
Solorzano was named to the All-Big West Freshman Team and earned an Honorable Mention award, the conference announced Friday.

After playing in 32 games for the Titans, Solorzano led the team with a .402 shooting percentage. She was the second-leading goal-scorer on the team, with 51 goals and six assists for a total of 57 points.
Her dominant performance as a defender and an attacker made her an essential part of this inaugural season, earning her the respect of her coaches and teammates.
