NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's water polo wrapped up their regular season with a 12-5 road loss to Cal State Northridge on Saturday. Titans finish their inaugural season 11-18 overall and 0-7 in Big West play.

CSUN attacked first, getting a shot by Haden Skye Bates after two minutes for a 1-0 lead over the Titans.

Gabrielle Zaretskiy had another stellar performance for the Titans, scoring two goals. Zaretskiy found the back of the net with less than five seconds on the clock in the first period to trail CSUN 2-1.

Zaretskiy launched a penalty shot through the posts in the third period, setting the score in favor of the Matadors, 6-2.

CSUN beat Skye Bates to the goal six more times in the second half.

Brittney Pino added a goal for the Titans before Mia Solorzano drilled two goals into the back of the net in the final minute of play, leaving the score set at 12-5 in favor of the Matadors.

The Titans will make their first appearance in the Big West tournament starting Friday, April 28.
