FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's water polo capped off their home schedule with a 16-8 loss to UC Santa Barbara Saturday after celebrating their seniors. The Titans will enter their final game of the season 11-18 overall and 0-6 in Big West play.

Zaretskiy became unstoppable in the first half, burying three additional goals before the break. She tipped in a shot by Mia Solorzano to earn her fourth goal. Zaretskiy was 4-for-6, scoring a pair of goals in the first and second periods.

Solorzano grabbed another assist as Kieran Scout Bates attacked the goal with a rocket in the third period to put the score at 11-6. Solorzano and Scout Bates assisted three goals each.

Senior Jacqueline Naito performed perfectly, beating UCSB's goalie twice after halftime. Naito's first goal came off a cross-shot that was just out of the goalie's reach and redirected into the net to put the score at 13-7 with 30 seconds left in the third period.

Naito found the back of the net for the second time in the fourth period after UCSB gained a 15-7 edge over the Titans.
Senior Minami Creamer entered in goal for Haden Skye Bates for the final five minutes of the game, allowing the Gauchos to score their last goal to beat the Titans 16-8. Skye Bates recorded six saves with a .286 save percentage before leaving the game.
The Titans will complete their season on the road against CSUN on Saturday at 12 p.m. PT.
