Titans Defeated by Hawai'i, 20-3

FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton women's water polo fell to the Big West Conference leader, Hawai'i, 20-3 at home on Friday night. The Titans are now 11-16 and 0-4 in conference play.

The Rainbow Wahine had an explosive first period, beating Haden Skye Bates six times.

Fullerton's first goal came off the hands of Mia Solorzano at the 5-minute mark. Solorzano accounted for the second goal of the game for the Titans in an effort to chip away at their 8-2 deficit slowly.

The Titans trailed 11-2 at the break and scored their final goal of the game by Gabrielle Zaretskiy after a Hawai'i goalkeeper change in the third period.

Hawai'i completed 20 of their 28 shots against the Titans and continued their undefeated conference run with their fifth win.

The Titans will hit the road for a game against UC Davis on April 8 at noon.
