Moore Named All-American Honorable Mention

Dec. 17, 2008

Lexington, KY - Cal State Fullerton outside hitter Brittany Moore was named a 2008 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American Honorable Mention today by the Lexington-based association as she continues to become the most decorated Titan volleyballer in school history.

The departing senior was named the Big West Conference's player of the year and earned first-team all-conference honors in her final season after tallying a school record, three league player of the week nods and two mentions as a national "Top Performer" by CVU.com in 2008.

Last week, the Orange, Calif. native was named to the AVCA's All-Western Region team, becoming the first Titan to receive such recognition.

Moore led the Titans to their first above .500 conference schedule in schools history, winning a record nine Big West Conference matches, and also carried them to just their fourth winning season since 1976.
