Titans Gather For Annual Banquet

Yorba Linda, Calif. - Family and friends gathered at the Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda, Calif. for a luncheon honoring the Cal State Fullerton volleyball team and its four departing seniors on Jan. 20, in their annual season-end banquet.

Seniors JENNA CARNEY, Amanda Pfielschiefter, Breanna Trudeau and Danielle Hitzeman were the guests of honor receiving framed jerseys and photos to commemorate their multiple years in a Titan uniform.

Coach Zimmerman also presented the team awards to those deserving in each category. Freshman Alex Wolnisty was presented the Most Improved Player Award while senior Breanna Trudeau earned the Titan Award for best exemplifying the spirit of Titan volleyball on and off the court as the team's captain. First Team All-Big West Conference hitter Brittany Moore also took home the team's Most Valuable Player Award for the first time as a sophomore.

The Titans finished 2006 17-12 overall posting their best all-time winning percentage (.586) and winning 17-or-more games for just the second time in the history of the program. The Titans were also 11-0 in tournament play in 2006, winning three tournament titles for the first time ever.

The 2007 Titans begin their spring tournament schedule March 24, 2007 at Pepperdine.
