Fullerton, Calif. - Despite a 19-kill, 13 dig performance by Brittany Moore on Senior Night, Cal State Fullerton dropped their final Big West Conference match of the season to Long Beach State, 3-0, Saturday night at Titan Gym.

With the 25-15, 25-22, 26-24 win Long Beach improves to 24-5, 13-3 on the year and takes its 53 consecutive game from Fullerton in the process. The Titans drop to 16-15 on the year and finish league play with a school record 9-7 mark.

The Titans lone senior, Moore, led the floor with 19 kills and hit .295 in the process, but had little offensive support. Erin Saddler also posted 11 kills for the Titans, but Long Beach's .314 attack percentage was too much for the Titans, as they finished at just .241 collectively. 49er leaders Caitlin Ledoux (14 kills) and Quincy Verdin (13-kills) posted .312, and .440 percentages, respectively to pace the Long Beach offense.

The Titans out-blocked the 49ers on the night, 3.0-2.0, led by Alex Wolnisty with 3 block assists. Four Long Beach players had a block assist each.

Nicole Vargas collected two of Long Beach's six aces on the night as they shutout the Titans in that department, 6-0 in the win.

Fullerton will play their final match of the 2008 season Tuesday night in Los Angeles as they take on LMU beginning at 7.pm. You can hear that match online at Fullertontitans.com with play-by-play announcer Patrick Alog beginning at 6:55 p.m.
