Fullerton, Calif. - Brittany Moore's double-double (24 kills/15digs) was not enough as UC Santa Barbara held on to win a two-hour, 35-minute, four-game match, 3-1, in a Big West Conference volleyball match Friday night at Titan Gym.

Fullerton dropped to a game below .500 at 11-12, and 5-6 in league action. UC Santa Barbara improved to 10-15, 5-7.

Lauren McLaughlin's 22 kills paced the Gauchos, who had four players in double-digit in kills, and her nine kills in game four, handed the Santa Barbara squad the 30-24, 34-32, 26-30, 30-28 victory. McLaughlin also posted a double-double scooping 16 digs along the way.

Moore led the Titan attack, and was one of five Fullerton players with 10-or-more kills. Alex Wolnisty added 16 kills of her own as well as seven blocks (two solos), the most for any player on the floor Friday night.

Senior Julie Geissert picked up 34 assists on the night, but on a grander scale, set the all-time assist mark at Cal State Fullerton finishing the night with 3,653 career assists. She surpassed Kim Levey's 3,621 career assists recorded by the setter from 1999-2002.

Defensively, Cami Corteau tallied 34 digs to set a career high, also tying Jamie Ivers mark of 34 digs as the fourth-highest total in a match in Titan volleyball history.
