Fullerton, Calif. - Five Aggies posted ten-or-more kills handing the Titan their first loss at Titan Gym as Cal State Fullerton was upset by UC Davis, 3-1 (30-27, 30-23, 24-30, 33-31), in a non-conference match in front of 288 fans.

Fullerton fell to 13-3 overall while Davis snapped an 11-match losing streak to improve to 2-13.

Britt Erickson led the Aggies with 16 kills but Rachel Keener connected for 15 while hitting .444 to lead all players. Erickson added 17 digs in the match as she and Chantal Paschetta each posted double-doubles.

The Aggies out-hit the Titans .147 to .124 on the match but the Titans posted a match-high attack percentage of .244 in their only win in game three.

Freshman Deven Bukoski tied for the game high in kills for Fullerton, also connecting for 16. She also collected her team-leading seventh double-double picking up 21 digs in the match.

Fullerton dominated at the net, posting a season-high 20.5 team blocks while the opponent picked up 10. Amanda Pfielschiefter posted a career and match-high nine block assist in the losing effort. Julie Geissert, and Brittany Moore each scored seven, with Moore picking up one Solo.

Davis' libero Avreeta Singh posted a game-high 40 digs to lead all players as the Aggies led in the dig department 106-98. The Titans countered with double figures in digs from Vanessa Vella (23), Mounia Nihipali (23) Barbie Thierjung (10) and Bukoski in the losing effort.

Fullerton will return to the floor on Oct. 6 at UC Santa Barbara in a Big West Conference match in Santa Barbara. Game time is 7 p.m.
