As a player, Kallick was an All-American for the Violets and holds university career records for kills (1,925), blocks (543), block assists (399), points (2354.5), and sets played (417). In his four-year playing career, Kallick led NYU to two Final Four finishes (2000 and 2002) and one national championship match in 2000 and was a four-time Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) first-teamer.

Following his collegiate career, the middle hitter played one professional season for Clube Desportivo de Povoa in Portugal.

In the off-season, Kallick works with Orange County's Impact Volleyball Club where he guided Impact 15 to a Top 5 finish at the Junior Olympics in the Summer of 2008.

Kallick will serve as the AVCA Big West Conference Assistant Coaches' representative in 2009.
