Kristin Mondientz joins Cal State Fullerton in her first year as
the program's Director of Operations. Her responsibilities include
game day management, travel coordination, NCAA compliance, and
statistical accumulation and analysis.
A 2007 graduate of Saint Leo University (Tampa,Fla.)
with a BA in business marketing, Mondientz served as an assistant
coach in 2006 at Saint Leo as the Lions made their first NCAA
Division II Tournament appearance.
Following her time at Saint Leo, Mondientz continued her coaching
career in Saignelègier, Switzerland, leading her
professional team as a player-coach to a 32-3 record which topped
the league standings during the 2009-10 season.
For the last three years, Mondientz has been a head coach at
Tstreet Volleyball Club in Irvine, Calif., coaching beginners and
advanced players.
Mondientz played four years of collegiate volleyball beginning at
Fresno City College (2002-03). During her time at FCC, the team
finished fifth in the state, and she received all-conference honors
after leading the club in blocks, a record that ranks fifth
all-time in the state. Mondientz also played basketball and ran
track at FCC.
After two years at FCC, Mondientz played right side and middle
blocker at the University of Central Florida (2004) for one season,
before completing her collegiate career at Saint Leo University
(2005).
Mondientz is a 2002 graduate of Sierra High School in Tollhouse,
Calif.
She currently lives in Huntington Beach and regularly trains and
competes in beach volleyball.
