RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's volleyball team put on a dominant display on the road against UC Riverside at the SRC Arena in a 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-19) sweep in their penultimate game of the season.

The Titans move to 11-15 overall and 8-11 in Big West play for the season.

The Titans had a great game offensively after hitting a collective .354 for the game. The freshman Marisse Turner had her best game so far in a Titans uniform after leading all players in kills with 11 and hitting at a .556 clip. Elizabeth Schuster led the team with 36 assists and Neena Dimas (16) and Julia Crawford (14) had double-digits in digs. Anya Green led the Highlanders with seven kills.

The Titans began the first set with a big lead that would set the tone for the rest of the game. Haley Carmo opened the serving and the Titans had a 4-0 lead in the opening set. Fullerton would eventually open up a 21-8 lead in the first set before finishing off the set at 25-13.

The Highlanders started out the second set leading 6-3 before the Titans would respond in a big manner. Under Elizabeth Schuster's service the Titans went on a 10-0 run to regain the lead at 14-6. The Titans would finish the second set at 25-12.

The third set was much closer than the previous two sets with the Titans leading the Highlanders 13-12 early in the set. The Titans couldn't quite separate from the Highlanders until a 5-0 run gave the Titans a 20-15 cushion. They were able to finish the rest of the game off and take the third set, 25-19.

The Titans remain on the road for their final game of the season. The Titans take on UC Davis on Saturday, November 27th.  First serve is set for 12:00 PM.
