Women's Volleyball Loses to Air Force 3-1

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Cal State Fullerton women's volleyball fell 3-1 (25-21, 22-25, 25-13, 25-23) to Air Force Saturday afternoon at Cadet Gym.

Fullerton went back and forth in the first set before ultimately falling 25-21. However, the Titans responded in the second set with a 25-22 victory led by Lyla Traylor's six kills. Traylor led the team with a career-high 16 kills in the game.  

After losing the third set the Titans once again came out on the court with impressive energy in hopes of forcing a fifth and final set but unfortunately came up just short as the Falcons went on a late run to win the fourth set 25-23. 

Julia Crawford had her third double-double of the season with 10 kills and a team-high 17 digs. Crawford leads the team this season with 80 kills in six games and his second on the Titans with 76 digs. Neena Dimas recorded 16 kills in the game and has a team-high 86 this year. 

The Titans are back Friday, Sept. 17 against California Baptist for their first game of the Big West/WAC Roundup played at UC Irvine.
