IRVINE, Calif. - Head Coach Ashley Preston has been named the Big West Conference Co-Coach of the Year. Julia Crawford was named to the All-Big West First Team and Freshman Team while Savahna Costello earns an Honorable Mention. The news was announced by the conference Tuesday morning.

In her fifth season at the helm, Ashley Preston becomes just the second Titan coach to ever win Coach of the Year honors. She coached her team to a 12-15 overall record, doubling her win total from last season and the .444 winning percentage makes it the best season for the program since 2012. In conference play, the Titans came out with four victories finishing in seventh place in the Big West standings. The four wins is the most since 2013 and the seventh place finish is the highest since 2012.

Freshman Julia Crawford had a phenomenal rookie campaign and was awarded a spot on the All-Big West First Team and Freshman Team. The outside hitter finished the season ranked fourth in the conference with 3.87 kills per set and eighth with 2.89 digs per set. Her 368 kills and 398.5 total points are the most by a Titan since the 2014 season. She posted six matches of 20-plus kills, including a career-best 27 against Prairie View A&M, to go along with 11 double-doubles. She becomes just the ninth Fullerton player to earn a First Team selection and the first since Kayla Neto in 2012.

Savahna Costello had a spectacular junior season receiving a Big West Honorable Mention. The 5'5" libero absolutely dominated the conference leaderboards averaging 5.31 digs per set; a number that ranked 13th in the entire NCAA. Her 531 total digs on the year is the sixth most in Titan single-season history. She posted double-digit digs in every match but two this season, including a 37-dig performance against CSUN in Titan Gym. Costello currently ranks sixth all-time in total digs for her career.
