FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton returns to Titan Gym as they look to bounce back from Tuesday's loss as they host CSUN and Long Beach State this weekend. The Titans were swept by the Matadors in their first meeting of the year and swept the Sharks.

Fullerton lost in four sets to UC Davis this past Tuesday after starting the match with their best set of the season. In the first, the Titans hit a blistering .400 hitting percentage en route to a 25-20 win. However, they could not keep the momentum as they fell in the next three sets to the Aggies. Julia Crawford led the team with nine kills while Savahna Costello led the way with 18 digs.

The Titans are now 11-10 overall on the year and 3-7 in Big West action sitting in seventh place in the conference standings above UC Riverside and UC Irvine. As a team, they continue to have solid defense ranking tenth in the NCAA and first in the conference averaging 17.94 digs per set led by Costello's 5.49 dps. On the offensive side, it continues to be the Crawford show in Fullerton as the freshman outside hitter ranks 13th in the nation on attacks per set (12.30) and fourth in the conference in kills per set (3.81).

CSUN enters the weekend 10-13 overall and 5-6 in Big West action sitting in fifth place in the Big West standings. The Matadors are coming back-to-back sweeps last weekend with wins over UC Davis and UC Riverside.

Rival Long Beach State also sits at 5-6 in Big West action, but sport an 8-15 overall record on the season. The Sharks split their two matches last weekend with a sweep of UCR and a five-set loss to UCD.
