IRVINE, Calif. - Outside hitter Julia Crawford was named the Big West Freshman of the Week for the second time this season. The conference announced on Monday.

• Cal State Fullerton's Julia Crawford received her second Big West Women's Volleyball Freshman of the Week award after leading her team to their first conference victory against UC Irvine.
 
• The 5-foot-9 outside hitter recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 20 kills and 17 digs, making this her fifth match with 20 or more kills.
 
• Crawford averaged 5.00 kills and 4.25 digs per set against the 'Eaters and ultimately finished the match with her 20th kills to give the Titans the 30-28 win in the fourth set.

• It marked the first conference win for Cal State Fullerton since 2017, snapping a 22-match losing streak in Big West matches.

Crawford and the Titans will be back in action this weekend as they take on rival Long Beach State on Friday and CSUN on Saturday.
