RIVERSIDE, Calif. - A pair of Titans claimed All-Tournament honors this past weekend at the UCR Classic as Savahna Costello was named the All-Tournament Libero and Makenzi Abelman was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Costello is having a phenomenal season ranking in the top 10 in digs per set and in the top 25 in total digs. Continuing that trend this weekend, she totaled 42 digs (4.2 per set) in the team's two matches at the UCR Classic. This marks the second accolade for the junior libero so far this season after claiming Big West Defensive Player of the Week on September 2.

Abelman has been huge for the Titans averaging just over 10 assists per set including three straight matches with over 40 assists. At the UCR Classic, she posted back-to-back games with 44 assists just missing out on a double-double in both matches. To go along with her 88 assists, the junior setter recorded 14 digs, four total blocks, and three service aces.

Cal State Fullerton just finished their non-conference schedule with an 8-3 record, their best mark since the 2010 season. They are set to begin conference play on Tuesday, September 24 at UC Riverside with the match set to start at 7:00 p.m. in SRC Arena.
