MOSCOW, Ida. - Opening their collegiate careers at the Idaho Volleyball Classic, Julia Crawford and Elizabeth Schuster helped Cal State Fullerton to a 2-1 record on opening weekend.

Crawford averaged 4.00 kills on .188 hitting totaling 48 kills with double-figure kills in all three matches. She also posted 43 digs (3.58 digs/set) over the three contests as well. After just missing out on a double-double in the first match, she came back with back-to-back doubles to close out the weekend. Against Illinois-Chicago, she recorded 20 kills and 15 digs then closed out the weekend with 17 kills and 19 digs against host Idaho.

Schuster posted a double-double in all three matches of the Idaho Volleyball Classic leading the team in assists for the weekend. Overall, she averaged 8.83 assists per set and 2.92 digs per set. In her Titan debut she finished with 27 assists and 11 digs against EWU and only got better the rest of the weekend. In the second match, she posted 35 assists and 11 digs against UIC, before closing the weekend out with 44 assists and 13 digs against Idaho.

Cal State Fullerton will be back in action at Chicago State this weekend for the Windy City Invitational.
