DAVIS, Calif. – It wasn't meant to be on Thursday, as Cal State Fullerton fell 3-0 (10-25, 13-25, 12-25) to UC Davis at The Pavilion.
For Fullerton (5-19, 1-10 Big West) the loss marks their second loss to UC Davis (14-11, 6-6 Big West) on the season.
Madeline Schneider led the Titans offensively with a team-high five kills and seven digs respectively. Jayla Norman contributed with three kills and three digs. Defensively, Savahna Costello put together a nice game, digging out a team-high nine balls, while Katie Roux came up with four.
The Titans never led in the match on Thursday, but will look to rebound as they return to Southern California this weekend. Fullerton visits UC Irvine at the Bren Events Center, Saturday at 7 pm PT.
