FULLERTON, Calif. --- Dominant would be the word to describe Madeline Schneider's performance, as she tallied a match-high 23 points, 19 kills and 16 digs to lead Fullerton to a convincing 3-0 (25-20, 26-24, 25-16) victory over Bryant University on the final day of the Titan Tournament inside Titan Gym on Sunday.
For the Titans (2-1), the victory marks their second match sweep of the season, as they've won eight of 11 sets overall to start the year. For the weekend, Schneider led all tournament athletes in hitting percentage (.232), kills (51) and kills per set (4.64). She accounted for 19 of the Titans' 43 kills vs. Bryant.

Defensively, three Titans recorded double-digit digs, as Schneider recorded a team-leading 16, while Nastassja Bowman and Savahna Costello each chipped in with 11 apiece. Aniya Henry recorded her second straight solid block performance, recording three on the evening. Summer Kerins also put up three.
"We're just trying to get better every match," said Costello. "We know what we're capable of and we can be a good team this year."
The Titans got off to fast start in all three sets. Fullerton jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the opening set and never looked back from there, eventually taking the frame 25-20, while hitting .268.
Bryant's (1-2) chance to get back into the match came in the second set, as both teams went back and forth, but the Titans were able to grind out a 26-24 victory to snatch the set and the momentum.
The Titans saved their best for last, posting a dominating attack percentage of .452, while committing just three errors. Fullerton recorded its largest margin of victory in any set this year, claiming a 25-16 to clinch the match sweep.
The Titans aim to start their first win streak of the year, as they'll take on Chicago State next Friday at 7:00 pm PT inside Titan Gym, in what will be game one of the Fullerton Classic.
