DAVIS, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton's struggles continued Saturday night as the Titans fell to UC Davis 3-0 (25-13, 25-23, 25-18) in a Big West Conference tilt at Hickey Gym.
The Titans (0-16, 0-4) were swept for the 10th time this season as the Aggies (9-11, 4-2) won their fourth consecutive conference game.
Kyra Hill tallied 11 kills to lead the Titans on a night when they tallied 33 kills as a team and attacked at a .140 clip. Mackenzie Olsen dished out 29 assists to go along with seven digs and a team-high four blocks in the loss. Summer Kerins added eight kills while Kandace Thomas and Kyra Smith had five apiece.
For the Aggies, Kendall Walbrecht led the way with 13 kills and hit at a .344 percentage. Kaylin Squyres and Nicola Moore added 12 kills apiece with Moore leading the team with a .688 (12-1-16) attacking percentage. Squyres finished with a double-double as she also had 10 digs and Sophia Mar dished out 41 assists, setting the Aggies to a .351 (49-10-111) attacking percentage.
The Titans will stay on the road next weekend as they face Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara on Friday and Saturday respectively.
