FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton offensive attack was stagnant on Friday night as the Titans suffered a 3-1 (22-25, 26-24, 25-15, 25-19) loss to UC Davis at Titan Gym.

CSF (11-12, 5-5 Big West) attacked at a percentage of .127, and muscled just seven blocks defensively.

The Aggies (11-12, 5-5 Big West), collected their first win at Titan Gym since 2008, and rebounded after losing the first set to claim the next three. The loss to UCD ended the Titans' six-match win streak in the series.

Senior Kayla Neto led the Titans with her 11th straight double-double, landing 20 kills and totaling 13 digs with three block assists. Bre Moreland added 10 kills and 15 digs, while Lauren Kissell dropped 11 kills hitting at a clip of .261.

The Titans were victorious in game one as Holland Crenshaw and Neto combined for nine of Fullerton's 15 kills. The defense also held UC Davis to a .093 attacking percentage.

But game two took a turn when UC Davis hit at a clip of .250 led by Valerie Brain's five kills, while the Titans committed eight attack errors.

In the third and fourth sets, Cal State Fullerton was outscored 50-34, as UC Davis held the lead from start to finish in both frames.

The Aggies ended the third game by recording the last seven points. The Titans posted a clip of  -.065 in set three as CSF landed only six kills while committing eight attack errors.

UC Davis hit at a clip of .195 and was led by Allison Whitson's 15 kills and 19 digs, while Brain landed 11 kills. Jenny Woolway led the UCD offense with 36 assists.

The Titans return to action on Saturday night to host Pacific at 7 p.m.

Notes:  Kayla Neto has now recorded 11 straight double-doubles (14 overall) and eight matches with at least 20 kills…UC Davis' win snapped the Titans' six-match win streak in the series between the two programs…the Aggies won their first match at Titan Gym since a five-set victory on Oct. 18, 2008.
