CAL STATE FULLERTON

JUNIOR (2010-11): Finished 3-3 in singles play during the fall and 1-1 in doubles play with teammate Monica Rodriguez... advanced to the semifinals of the Flight C Consolation bracket at the Matador Invitational before falling to teammate Karina Akhmedova.

SOPHOMORE (2009-10): Did not play.

FRESHMAN (2008-09):Co-led the team with seven singles victories, finishing 7-17 overall and 4-15 in dual match play... her five victories against in-region opponents were also a team-high... competed most of the season at the No. 1 position, posting a 3-14 record, and also went 1-1 at the No. 2 spot... had a stellar collegiate debut, winning four of her first six matches, advancing to the third round of both the Fullerton Fall Intercollegiates and the Matador Invite... posted dual match wins over San Diego's Samantha Mouly (2-6, 1-0, ret.), Cal State Bakersfield's Nefeli Diamanti (6-0, 6-0), Amherst's Brittany Berckes (1-6, 6-1, 10-5), and Santa Clara's Stephanie Galainena (6-2, 6-4)... posted a 7-24 record with five different partners in doubles play... finished with two victories each with teammates Jerusha Cruz and Karina Akhmedova.

PERSONAL
Leslie brings a stellar USTA and high school career to Cal State Fullerton. She was consistently ranked in the top 40 in all age divisions of the SCTA and reached a career high of #53 in USTA 14 and under. Not only did she succeed in singles, Leslie achieved a national ranking of 30 in G14 doubles and was a semi-finalist of the 2005 Ojai Tournament G18. Leslie played four years of varsity tennis at Mater Dei High School where she achieved many accolades: Orange County Register Player of the Week, Sept 2005, Most Valuable Player (2004, 2005), First Team Serra League, 2005, and was team captain in 2006. She finished her high school career with a singles record of 95-38. Leslie has also been active off the tennis court. She was a member of the Student Council her freshman year in HS and was instrumental in founding the Mater Dei Entrepreneur Club her junior year. Leslie is planning on majoring in Business with the ultimate goal of becoming a financial advisor or owning her on business.
