FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team defeated the Fordham Rams 4-1 on Sunday afternoon at home.
The Titans (7-5) ended a three match losing streak and picked up their first at home during a 9-game homestand in March.
The Titans took an early lead in the match after securing the doubles point. The Titans won the No. 3 pairing behind Diana Yanotovskava and Kaytlin Taylor before dropping the No. 1 doubles match. However, the No. 2 pairing of Zoe Olmos and Milena Gevorgyan won their match 7-6 to get the doubles win for the Titans.

The Titans were able to secure the victory in singles with two matches to spare. Zoe Olmos got the first win in singles to put the Titans up 2-1. Fordham would win No. 5 singles for their only point of the match. Natalie Duffy came back after losing the second set to win her match in three sets. Milena Gevorgyan secured the win for the Titans after dropping the first set but coming back and winning the next two.

The Titans will play a doubleheader on Thursday at home when they take on St. Thomas and Sacramento State. First serve against St. Thomas is set to take place at 10:00 AM while the match against Sacramento State is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m.
