FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team won their first two games of the spring dual season under new head coach, Trang Huynh-McClain.  These are the first two wins of Huynh-McClain's head coaching career at Fullerton.   

The Titans swept both of their opponents Azuza Pacific and Westcliff University, 4-0 to cap off a perfect 8-0 day.

The women's tennis won their first match of the morning over Azusa Pacific in a 4-0 win. 

The Titans scored the first point after taking the doubles point over the Cougars. It came down to the No. 3 match in doubles but the pairing of Milena Gevorgyan and Mariia Nikitash were able to secure the point after winning a tie-break over the Cougars No.3 pairing.

In singles, the Titans were led by No. 2 Natalie Duffy, No. 3. Milena Gevorgyan, and No. 6 Kaytlin Taylor to finish off the sweep of the Cougars.

The women's tennis team came back to win their second game of the day against Westcliff University, 4-0 to finish off a perfect 8-0 day.  

The Titans won the doubles point after the No. 1 and No. 2 pairings for the Titans defeated the Warriors No. 1 and No. 2.

The Titans are idle next week but will remain at home for their next match as they will take on Point Loma on Tuesday, February 7th at 1:30 P.M.
