LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Zoe Olmos led the Titans at the Jack Kramer on Friday as she won both of her singles matches to advance to Saturday's quarter-final.
Olmos won her first match of the day against Delanie Dunkle (Cal Poly) 6-3, 6-4. In her round of 16 match, Olmos defeated the No. 3 seeded Shakhnoza Khatamova (UCSB) 6-4, 4-6, 7-5.
Olmos advanced to Saturday's quarterfinal with a match against the No. 5 seeded Stefania Rogozinska-Dzik of LMU.
In other singles matches for the Titans, Natalie Duffy lost against Camille Kiss (UCSB) 1-6, 1-6.
Diana Yanotoskaya fell against Carolyn Campana (Pepperdine) 0-6, 2-6.
Milena Gevorgyan lost against Reece Carter (Arizona) 1-6, 4-6.
In doubles action, the pairing of Duffy/Yanotoskaya lost against the Carter/Fry (Arizona) pairing 4-8.
Zoe Olmos and Milena Gevorgyan defeated Karin Young/Madisen Olsen (Oregon) in doubles 8-3. They will face Stefania Rogozinska-Dzik/Sofia Munera (LMU) in the quarterfinals.
