LONG BEACH, Calif. - The doubles pairing of Natalie Duffy and Zoe Olmos won their bracket championship against their fellow Titan teammates Camila Garcia and Mariia Nikitash 6-1 on Sunday's finale at the Long Beach Invitational.  

The Duffy/Olmos pairing were the first Titans to win a tournament draw so far in the 2022 season.  

In the other doubles match by Kaytlin Taylor and Diana Yanotoskaya, they lost to CSUN's Turchak/Zhytelna 6-7 (4). 

With all the Titans singles players in their consolation bracket, the Titans won two of their matches.

Diana Yanotoskaya defeated Yulia Zhytelna (CSUN) 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Maria Nikitash defeated Jasmine Tolmoyan (CSUN) 7-6 (6), 6-4

Megan Tagaloa was defeated by Peppi Ramstedt (LBSU) 4-6, 1-6. 

Zoe Olmos lost to Sarah Medik (LBSU) 3-6, 2-6.  

Natalie Duffy was defeated by Victoria Solis Urdiales (CSUN) 4-6, 3-6. 

Camila Garcia was defeated by Angela Ho (CSUN) 0-6, 0-6.

The Titans will take next weekend off before turning to competition at the ITA Fall Regionals in San Diego that begin on Thursday, October 20th.
