SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team completed their second day of competition at the San Diego State Fall Classic. The Titans had two singles players and one doubles pairing advance to the finals of their bracket.
In the singles red bracket, Camila Garcia lost her match against Julia Jordan (SDSU) 6-0 ,6-1. She will go up against Sofia Dermenjyan tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. Diana Yanotoskaya defeated Veronika Lebisova (UTEP) 7-5, 6-4. She will go against Justine Dondonay (LBSU) tomorrow.
In the white bracket, Natalie Duffy won her second match of the tournament. Duffy defeated Mathilde Tranberg (LBSU) 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 and will go against Sarah Medik (LBSU) tomorrow.
Zoe Olmos defeated Yulia Zhytelna (CSUN) 6-4, 6-2 and will go against Matador Sasha Turchak (CSUN) tomorrow.
In the black bracket, Kaytlin Taylor defeated Vito Solis Urdiales (CSUN) 6-2, 6-0 and will go against Emma Moratalla Sanz (CSUN) tomorrow.
In the gray bracket, Megan Tagaloa was defeated by Tallia Harper 6-1, 6-1. Tagaloa will go against Jackie O'Neil (CSUN) tomorrow at 11:30 a.m.
In the red doubles bracket, the pairing of Duffy/Yanotoskaya won their second match in a row 6-2 over Turchak/UNG (CSUN).
After losing their first match, the pairing of Garcia/Olmos defeated Harper/Tolmoyan (CSUN) 7-6 (10) and will go against Tranberg/Dondonay (LBSU) tomorrow.
In the black bracket, the pairing of Taylor/Tagaloa were defeated by Ho/Santibanez Luna (CSUN) 6-4 and will go against Ramstedt/Medik (LBSU) tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
