SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The No.5 seeded Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team defeated the No. 4 seeded UC Davis Aggies in the Big West Championships Quarterfinals, 4-2, on Thursday morning at the Barnes Tennis Center. 

The Titans were previously swept 4-0 at UC Davis on April 2nd who broke an 8-game winning streak the Titans were on.  

The Titans won the doubles point after the No. 1 pairing of Eira Tobrand/Camila Garcia and the No. 2 pairing of Natalie Duffy/YuSeung Suh won both their matches 7-5 and 7-6.

Kaytlin Taylor gave the Titans a 2-0 lead after defeating Michelle Zell in straight sets.  

However, UC Davis tied the match up after Arianna Stavropoulos defeated Eira Tobrand and Kristina Evloeva defeated Camila Garcia in straight sets.

But the Titans would win the next two matches as YuSeung Suh defeated Sara Tsukamoto 6-2, 6-4 and Natalie Duffy defeated Yana Gurevich, 6-3, 7-6.

The Titans move on to the semifinal stage where they will square off against the No. 1 seeded UCSB Gauchos. The Gauchos defeated the Titans in a 4-0 sweep on April 17th. First serve is set for 12:00 pm.
