FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's tennis team defeated the UC Irvine Anteaters 6-1 on Sunday afternoon in their final match of the regular season.  

After today's win over the Anteaters, the Titans are 15-7 overall and 5-4 in the Big West Conference.  They have secured the No.5 seed in the Big West Tennis Championships and will play the No. 4 seeded UC Davis Aggies on Thursday at 9:00 am at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.  

The Titans won the doubles point and the first five singles matches to be completed. 

The No. 1 pairing of Eira Tobrand and Camila Garcia defeated their opponents 6-3.  The No. 3 pairing of Juliette Daries and Mariia Nikitash won their match 6-1 to secure the doubles point.

In singles, the Titans won the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 6 match to secure the 4-0 victory for the Titans but they played it out and picked up two more wins at No. 3. And No. 4. 

Natalie Duffy won her match 6-1, 6-3.  Eira Tobrand won her match 6-, 6-3.  Kaytlin Taylor almost double bageled her opponent 6-1, 6-0.  

Juliette Daries won her match 6-2, 6-3 and Camila Garcia won her match 6-2, 6-3.  Mariia Nikitash was the only Titan to fall against the Anteaters.  

The Titans also honored their two seniors at the end of the match in YuSeung Suh and Eira Tobrand.
