Women's Tennis Defeats Toledo

FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans won their second game in a row as they defeated the the No. 75 ranked University of Toledo, 5-2 on Tuesday afternoon at the Titans tennis courts. 

The Titans move to 7-3 on the season and have won the first two games of their 7-game homestand. 

The Titans took a 1-0 lead after securing the doubles point when both the No. 1 Doubles pairings won their matchup.  

The Titans secured the match after Camilia Garcia, Maria Nikitash, and YuSeung Suh won their singles matches and held a 4-1 lead.  They finished it out with Eira Tobrand getting the win the in the third set.  Cassie Alcala won the No.1 singles match for Toledo while Julia Kuszynski won their No.3 singles over Juliette Daries

The Titans return to the court for their second of three home games this weekend on Wednesday at 1:30 pm against Youngstown State.
