HONOLULU, HI. - The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team defeated Hawaii Pacific University 4-1 on Friday afternoon.
The Titans (5-2) gave the Sharks (5-1) their first loss of the season.
The Titans got the first point of the day as the doubles pairing of Natalie Duffy/Yuseung Seh won their match 6-2 and Juliette Daries/Kaytlin Taylor won their match 6-3.
In the singles competition, they got an early point as No.6 singles Kaytlin Taylor got a victory over the HPU opponent that retired.
Eira Tobrand got a 6-0, 6-1 victory in No.3 singles and Juliette Daries scored a 6-2, 6-1 victory in No.4 singles.
The Sharks got their only point in the No.1 Singles when Elodie Busson defeated Natalie Duffy 6-2, 6-4.
The Titans resume Big West play and take on the University of Hawai'i tomorrow at 1:00 PM
