SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton Women's Tennis bounced back with a win over UC San Diego on Sunday afternoon, 5-2 in San Diego. 

In singles play, Natalie Duffy, YuSeung Suh, Eira Tobrand, Juliette Daries, Camila Garcia and Kaytlin Taylor were in action. In doubles play Duffy and Suh paired up, Garcia and Tobrand teamed up, and Taylor and Daries paired up.

The Titans clinched the doubles point with two wins in doubles play. On court one Duffy and Suh bounced back with an emphatic 6-2 win to set the tone. Taylor and Daries followed that up with a 6-4 win on court three to clinch the doubles point and the 1-0 lead overall. Garcia and Tobrand were tied 4-4 in their match which went unfinished. 

As for singles play, the Titans earned four of six singles wins. Taylor continued her perfect day with a straight-sets win on court six, winning 6-0, 6-3, giving the Titans a 2-0 lead. Suh also had a perfect day, winning her match on court two 6-1, 6-2 to give Fullerton a 3-0 lead. 

Duffy dropped her match on court one, 3-6, 3-6 as the Tritons earned a point back, making the match 3-1 after four matches. The Tritons earned their second and final point of the afternoon on court five, where Garcia fell 3-6, 3-6.

After those matches, it was all Titans. Tobrand clinched the win for the Titans with a three-set battle on court three. She won the first set 6-0, lost the second 3-6, before dominating the third set, winning 6-4, to clinch the win for Fullerton, 4-2. Daries followed that up with a gritty 7-5, 7-5 win in straight-sets on court four to wrap up the day for the Titans, who ran out 5-2 winners on Saturday afternoon.
