FULLERTON, Calif. –  The Titans women's tennis team bounce back to collect another win at home on Saturday against UC Riverside. 

The Highlanders tested the Titans early on in doubles. At No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, both teams started out down in the match 0-1. But, for Natalie Duffy/ YuSeung Suh that was the only game they would give to their opponents. The duo won six straight games to roll right through the Highlanders and beat them 6-1. Following that match, No. 1 doubles struggled to hold their early lead and ended up falling to the Highlanders 3-6.  Jadie Acidera/Camlia Garica made an impressive comeback after being down 0-3. The two worked their way back in and took the enitre match away from their opponents, 7-5. The win at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles helped the Titans capture the doubles point. 

In singles, Eira Tobrand set the tone by beating her opponent in straight sets and only dropping two games (6-0, 6-2). Not too long after, YuSeung Suh defeated her opponent at No. 5 singles to advance the Titans to a 3-0 lead over the Highlanders. The final point needed to guarantee the win for the Titans came after Juliette Daries beat Highlander, Sofia Lazzaroni, in straight sets.

Three matches continued to play out. Jadie Acidera split sets after having both a close first and second set, but unfortunately lost to her opponent in the third set tiebreaker. At No. 4 Natalie Duffy also split sets with her opponent. The freshman then went on and dominated the third set to win it all (6-4, 4-6, 6-1). Misaki Kobayashi had a tight match with both set one and two going 7-5, 6-7(7).  After splitting sets, Kobayashi would lose in the third set tiebreaker, 6-10. 

 The final score for the Titans was 5-2.
