Titans Travel to Santa Clara and San Jose State

FULLERTON, Calif. – The Titans women's tennis team (6-2, 0-0 BWC) will head north for their first real road trip of the season, with matches at Santa Clara on Saturday, and San Jose State on Sunday.  Both teams participated in the CSUF Spring Invite in January,

Santa Clara, a member of the West Coast Conference, is currently 2-3 in dual match play.  A common opponent has been Nevada.  Fullerton defeated the Wolf Pack 4-1, while the Broncos lost to Nevada 2-4.

San Jose State is a former PCAA / Big West member, and is currently in the Mountain West Conference.  The Spartans are 2-4 on the season.  A common opponent has been Saint Mary's.  The Gaels defeated Fullerton 2-6, and San Jose State 0-4.

The young Titans are led by two-time All-Big West singles player, Genevieve Zeidan.  Jadie Acidera, Petra Such, Eira Tobrand and Taylor Valenzuela are the experienced returning veterans, and Camila Garcia, Misaki Kobayashi and YuSeung Suh are the exciting newcomers to the program.  Head coach Dianne Matias is in her seventh season at the Cal State Fullerton helm.
