SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team participated in the opening rounds of the ITA Southwest Regionals on Thursday. The prestigious tournament features competitors from most of the D-I schools in southern California, Arizona and Hawaii.
Both Titan Doubles squads were able to advance. Kalachova / Tobrand and Acidera / Valenzuela were victorious by identical hard-fought 8-6 scores. Today figures to be even tougher, as they face teams from UCLA and Pepperdine respectively.
Our Singles players, Jadie Acidera, Eira Tobrand, Alex Kalachova and Taylor Valenzuela battled valiantly, but were eliminated from the championship bracket.
