FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team will travel down the coast to the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego to participate in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southwest Regional beginning on Thursday. Competitors will come from D-1 programs in southern California, Hawaii and Arizona.
The five-day tournament will consist of a Singles draw of 128 with byes, and a Doubles draw of 64 with byes. All players are guaranteed at least two matches throughout the tournament. There will be winner's brackets and consolation brackets.
Doubles matches will feature an eight-game pro set until the semi-finals. After that, the format will change to a best of three sets, with a 10-point tiebreaker.
