CAL STATE FULLERTON
2006 (JUNIOR): Appeared in 14 games in the
circle for the Titans, making eight starts... tallied a 3-3 overall
record to go with a 2.30 ERA... struck out 40 batters in 48.2
innings pitched... held opponents to a .242 batting average...
pitched back-to-back gems against Virginia (March 7) and Ohio State
(March 25)... scattered just six hits in a five-inning no decision
against the Cavaliers, striking out five... followed that up by
allowing just two hits in a complete-game win over the Buckeyes...
also allowed an unearned run and struck out a season-high eight
batters in a complete-game victory over UC Davis on April 29.
2005 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 23 games, making
14 starts... made 12 starts in the circle for the Titans, going 7-4
with a 3.00 ERA... struck out 84 in 88.2 innings... held opponents
to a .219 batting average... earned Co-Big West Conference Pitcher
of the Week honors on May 9 after carrying a no-hitter into the
seventh inning against Pacific (May 7), retiring the first 11
batters she faced and 17 of the first 19, allowing only two hits
and striking out 10... followed that start up by allowing only one
run on four hits while striking out a career-high 12 in a
complete-game win over Cal State Northridge (May 13)... posted a
6-2 record with a 3.04 ERA against Big West opponents... ended the
season on a four-game winning streak.
2004 (FRESHMAN): Was the Titans' star in the
circle as a freshman, posting a 14-18 overall record with a 2.94
ERA... made 42 appearances and started 31 games... the 42
appearances are tied for seventh on the school's single-season
list... tossed 23 complete games with three shutouts... struck out
140 in 224 innings, and held opponents to a .243 average... led the
Big West Conference in innings pitched and appearances, ranked
third in strikeouts, and tied for seventh in victories... struck
out a career-high seven against Utah State (Apr. 4)... tossed her
first career shutout in a 4-0 win over Cal State Northridge (Apr.
10) to clinch a series win... also tossed shutouts against Long
Beach State (Apr. 24) and UC Riverside (May 2)... hit .131 on the
season, with a double and two RBI... also scored seven runs... had
a career-high two hits in a win over Massachusetts (Feb. 14).
CAPISTRANO VALLEY HS
Played three years of varsity softball as a pitcher/outfielder
for the Cougars... earned All-South Coast League honors in all
three seasons... undefeated in the circle as a freshman on the
junior varsity team, posting a 20-0 record with a 1.11 ERA and 179
strikeouts... hit .403 as a freshman... was an All-CIF Southern
Section Division I pick as a sophomore and junior... South Coast
League MVP as a sophomore in 2001 and was a first-team all-county
selection by the Orange County Register... helped Capo
Valley to its first league title and the CIF semifinals... finished
her sophomore year with a 20-6 record in the circle and an 0.84 ERA
in 200 innings... team MVP as a junior, going 17-9 with a 0.68 ERA
in 185 innings and hitting .321 at the plate... was Capo Valley's
Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a senior.
PERSONAL
Born April 20, 1985, in Van Nuys, Calif... parents are Jeff and
Carole Weekley... has a younger brother, Brett... a business major
at Cal State Fullerton with an emphasis in marketing... selected
the Titans over San Diego, DePaul, and Syracuse because of the
coaching staff, the players, the location, and the business
program... valedictorian of her high school class, member of the
national honor roll (2002-03), the Superintendent's honor roll
(1997-03), and the scholar-athlete award (2000-03)... Vice
President of the Cal State Fullerton Student-Athlete Advisory
Committee (2005-06) and Co-President for the 2006-07 school year...
National Society of Collegiate Scholars... member of the Beta Gamme
Sigma Honor Society for business and management... Dean's List at
Cal State Fullerton from 2003-06.
