Lauren Mario enters her first season as an undergraduate assistant for head coach Kelly Ford. The San Diego, Calif., native played four seasons for the Titans helping Fullerton finish her senior season with a record of 33-21-1, most wins for the program since 2007, while notching a third place finish in the Big West. 

CAL STATE FULLERTON
SENIOR (2014): Appeared in 46 games, making a career-high 40 starts in right field…hit .200 with five home runs and 17 RBI’s during the 2013-14 season…posted five multi-RBI contests…roped an eight-game hitting streak between Mar. 26-Apr. 10…scored a career-high three times against UNLV on Mar. 14…turned in a (1-for-3) performance versus then No. 2 Tennessee, driving in a pair via a home run…also clubbed a round-tripper at defending conference champs Hawai’i, batting (1-for-3) with one run scored and a season-high three RBI’s. 

JUNIOR (2013): Appeared in 47 games, making 31 starts at second base for Fullerton...hit .237 with three home runs and 10 RBI's during the 2012-13 season...had five multiple-hit games this season, including a three-hit performance (3-for-4) against UC Santa Barbara on March 23...also had two multiple RBI games and five stolen bases...had her best performance of the season versus Charleston Southern on March 8 when she belted two home runs and recorded four RBI's in a 10-2 Fullerton win...first Titan to hit two home runs in a game since Anissa Young did during the 2011-12 season...On March 1 with Fullerton trailing 4-3 versus Wisconsin, Mario hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to help propel the Titans over the Badgers...scored 18 runs and had a .382 slugging percentage...logged a .971 fielding percentage and had 52 putouts.

SOPHOMORE (2012):
 Appeared in 23 games, making two starts, in a reserve role for the Titans...hit .182 (4-22) in those contests with a double, six runs scored, and four RBI's...had two multi-RBI games, one versus UC Santa Barbara on April 6 going one for four with two RBI's and on May 11 versus UC Davis going one for one with two runs and two RBI's.

FRESHMAN (2011): Appeared in 43 games, making 37 starts...hit .221 overall on the season with five doubles, three triples, four home runs, and 10 RBI...led the team with 23 runs scored and tied for the team lead in triples...her four home runs were also second on the team...led the team with 19 walks on the year...logged her first career hit with a double against Texas A&M...drove home her first career runs with two RBI against Long Island...hit her first career home run against Utah State in the bottom of the seventh to tie a game the Titans would eventually win, 2-1, in extra innings...followed that up with a home run against UCLA in the team's next contest...also homered against Canisius and UC Riverside...recorded her first career multi-hit game with a 2-for-3 performance against Troy...drove home a career-high three runs in game two of the series against UC Riverside...reached base safely in a team-high 12 consecutive games from Feb. 25-March 12, hitting safely in nine of those and batting .323 (10-for-31) with 11 runs scored and six extra base hits in that stretch...walked twice in a game three times.

RANCHO BERNARDO HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letter winner for the Broncos who also played two seasons of field hockey...first-team All-Palomar League First-Team selection as a junior, helping the Broncos to a CIF title...hit .327 that season with six home runs, seven triples, and 27 RBI while slugging .673 on the year...All-Palomar League Second-Team choice as a senior after batting .330 with four home runs and 18 RBI...two time most outstanding defensive player and the most outstanding offensive player as a senior...All-North County First Team choice as a sophomore.

PERSONAL
Parents are Vince and Vicky...has a sister, Erin...intends to major in kinesiology...also considered Cal Poly and Long Beach State...nickname is "Lo"...played travel ball for San Diego Powersurge Gold...United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award...Michelle Carew Classic All-Tournament Team selection twice...favorites include: purple (color), "We can because we think we can," (quote), surfing and photography (hobbies), the beach (place already visited), Italy (would like to visit), Italian (food), gold fish (snack), iced tea (drink), LA Kings (athletic team), Despicable Me, S.W.A.T, Miss Congeniality, Transformers (movies), CSI (tv show), John Mayer (musical artist), "Jodi Picoult," (book)...greatest accomplishment: Playing D1 softball...something most people would be surprised to know about me: I used to be really shy and can whistle really loud.
