ROTTERDAM, Netherlands - Followinging the conclusion of the 2023 softball, it was announced earlier this month that 2023 graduate Daisy Munoz has signed to play softball overseas with the Neptunus Baseball and Softball club who are based in Rotterdam. Munoz will join the club for the second half of the season.
"I'm super excited to be given this opportunity to continue my softball career in Europe! I can't wait to experience the different culture while getting to play softball," said Munoz.
Neptunus plays in the Softball Hoofdklasse, the top level of professional softball in the Netherlands. They are currently in second place in the eight team league. After the conclusion of the 42 game season, the top two teams will play in the Holland Series, a best-of-five competition to determine the Dutch National Champion.

Neptunus will begin play in the second half of their summer on July 29th against league leaders Olympia Haarlem. Their games are also sometimes streamed on SDTV on youtube. Munoz finished her career with the Titans with her name all over the record book. She is 10th all time in career games (243) and 4th all-time with 234 career starts. She is 8th all time with 210 hits, 7th all-time with 40 career doubles, 3rd all-time with 34 home runs, 3rd all time with 151 RBIs, 5th all time with 354 total bases, and 7th all time with 74 walks. She earned all-conference accolades in all four seasons (2019-2nd Team, 2021-1st Team, 2022-2nd Team, 2023-HM) with the Titans.
This marks the second player from the 2023 Titans squad that have signed overseas to play softball. Myka Sutherlin is currently playing with Softball Forli in Italy.
