FULLERTON, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton Titans women's softball team dropped a midweek game 8-0 against No. 6 Stanford in five innings.

The Titans had two baserunners as Daisy Munoz worked a walk and Alexa Neil reached on an error in the game.

Stanford scored one run in the second, five runs in the third, and two runs in the fourth in the run-rule victory over the Titans.

Myka Sutherlin allowed six runs on six hits and two walks and two strikeouts.  Haley Rainey allowed two unearned runs in two innings of work.  Raci Miranda tossed a scoreless inning in the fifth. Regan Krause tossed a no-hitter for the Cardinal.

The Titans head to UC Riverside this weekend for their first away conference series.  They'll play a doubleheader on Saturday and one game on Sunday.  First pitch for Saturday is set for 1:00 p.m.
